- Dr. Murakami earned a best presentation award, Mr. Sakuda earned a best poster award, Mr. Tejima and Mr. Yasui earned poster awards at Pacrim 13, No. 14 session.

- Mr. Zhang, and Mr. Tejima earned poster awards at the annual meeting of the ceramic society of Japan.
- Mr. Zhang earned a poster award at the young scientist meeting of the MEXT Grant-in-Aid "Scientific Research on Innovative Areas: Synthesis of Mixed-Anion Compounds towards Novel Functionalities".
